Arsenal scores 100,000 in one year!
Desktop Wenger, the alerts service from Arsenal.com, has celebrated his first birthday this month by scoring a remarkable 100,000 downloads, enabling huge numbers of fans to receive up to five news and video alerts every week.

Developed by Skinkers Communications and featuring an animated caricature of one of the most successful football managers of recent years, the application delivers the latest news and video clips direct to fans’ desktops, whether they are online or not.
In addition to building a closer relationship with their core fan base, the Skinkers system has been an effective tool in promoting their premium content service, "Arsenal Plus". Darrell Mott, Operations Manager for Arsenal.com commented:
