Skinkers “Real Men” and one woman ride for Prostate Cancer Charity
Skinkers Cycling Club cycle 100 miles from London to Suffolk

The Real Man Cycle Challenge was billed as London’s first “corporate cycle race”, in aid of Prostate Cancer Charity. It was to be held a few weeks ago in Canary Wharf but had to be postponed indefinitely. This was partly because of the turmoil in the business world, which meant that not enough companies entered teams to justify the necessary road closures.
Skinkers had already entered a team and raised money from sponsors. So to make the most of the opportunity to support this very worthwhile charity, five members of Skinkers Cycling Club donated a day on Friday the 17th October to ride the 100 miles from London to Woodbridge, on the Suffolk coast– three of them on single speed “fixed” gears!
