Skinkers BlackBerry Agent
Within the Live Notification Platform, the Skinkers Blackberry Agent is a Java application installed on the BlackBerry and managed by the server component of our platform.
The Skinkers Blackberry Agent provides an audited, ‘always on’ connection to the BlackBerry user. The agent presents notifications through a dedicated application, which, using the relevant corporate branding delivers high impact messages and acknowledged receipt for audit purposes, outside of BlackBerry email system.
For example, important emergency and compliance information can be sent directly to the BlackBerry screen (with alert sound and corporate branding). The user can then acknowledge receipt of the communication which is logged in the Live Notification Platform server.
This ability to deliver audited communications to remote mobile devices ensures that users are kept informed regardless of location and through acknowledgement of receipt can provide true closed loop communications for vital messages.
Using true push technology, messages can be delivered to a Skinkers Blackberry Agent within seconds of it being broadcast.
